As I mentioned last week I'm taking a page from a couple of fellow bloggers (Jess Runs ATL and The Right Fits) to bring you weekly updates on my Boston Marathon training program.
I like to follow a 18 week program, so I'm going to go with our 30 Day running challenge's Intermediate program as a warmup into the full training cycle which will start in a few weeks.

Howdy...I got a new pair of Hoka One One shoes today and gave them a test run. Go ahead and check out the video...
The short version is I liked them at least for the first run. We'll of course see over the next few weeks/months. I really liked how lightweight they were despite the fact that they look giant. And having a low drop is very important to me.
Wow....when I logged into Facebook this morning it showed me this picture in my "memories" from 7 years ago today.
This was my first half-marathon and the first organized race I'd been in over 13 years (I'd run some 10Ks in college). I ran rather slowly. It took me 2:20:28 to finish, but hey I did it.
