International Women's Day is March 8th and we want everyone to play a part in helping drive better outcomes for women with our IWD170 Virtual Race.

The World Economic Forum predicts the gender gap won't close entirely until 2186.

That's 170 YEARS from now!

International Women's Day provides an important opportunity for ground breaking action that can truly drive greater change for women.   

As many of you know my three daughters are all Girl Scouts and all are learning such great skills (and having fun!)...this is an opportunity every girl should have and we are happy to be able to support the Girl Scouts with this race.

A portion of the earnings from this race will go to support the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.   The more people who enter, the more we can support this great organization and bring more awareness to this issue.

So how does this work?   Since the gap currently won't close for 170 Years, we are hosting the IWD 170 Virtual Race.   All you do is sign up (which supports WAGGGS) and then you need to run (or walk) for 170 minutes.

Before you ask...no, you don't have to do it all at once.  If you want to walk for 30 minutes each day for 6 days -or- if you want to bust out and run for 170 minutes straight either way is fine with us.

So you get some great bling, have some exercise, and get to help the girls...what could be better :)
